Needs Analysis
- PhD candidates need to be able to pitch their research topic in a convincing and well-structured way
- PhD candidates get to know a multimodal skills training application and have the chance to test it
- The topic is relevant in TEL / EdTech because it addresses the problem of software-support for training multimodal skills with e.g. automated feedback or reflection prompts

- Introduction + overview of the topic & project (10 min)
- Downloading / accessing the software (5 min)
- What do you want to say? – Using the message composition software to plan the pitch (24 min)
- Fill out a short survey about the software (9 min)
- How to present it? – Using the rehearsal software to train your pitch and improve your non-verbal communication (19 min)
- Fill out a short survey about the software (9 min)
- Present your pitch to a small group of other participants (14 min)
