🙌Non-profit. The EATEL summer school follows a non-profit scheme, following the association statutes.

🙏Volunteers. The organizing committee members work as volunteers to make the event possible. The educational program is provided free of charge.

🏷️Fee composition. The cost of the school covers accommodation, meals, excursions, printed materials, and a small administrative fee.

🤝Membership. Starting form 2026, the registration fee of the summer school includes an annual EATEL membership fee for non-members.

The EATEL summer school adopts a convenient and transparent fee structure.

1. You have full control of the duration of your stay in the venue hotel. You can select each day you would like to participate in the summer school.
2. You can select single or double occupancy.
3. You can add accommodation for a private stay in the venue hotel for up to 5 days before and up to 5 days after after, taking advantage of the discounted accommodation fees.
4. You can bring guests.

📅Summer school dates

In the registration form “main event”, you will be given a list of the summer school dates. You will need to select each day between your arrival and departure dates. We strongly recommend arriving on Saturday 16 May and departing on Sunday 24 May. How to select your duration?

• You need to add each day you would like to participate in the summer school.
• The first day you select in the registration form should be your arrival day.
• The last day you select in the registration form should be the day before your departure day.
• Double check: The number of days you select in the registration form should be = the number of nights you intend to stay in the venue hotel.
• Double check: Your departure day should NOT be selected in the registration form.

🌴Private stay

In the registration form “private stay and guests”, you can add accommodation for a private stay in the venue hotel, privately, up to 5 nights before the event and up to 5 nights after the event.

• You need to add the number of days of your private stay before the summer schools.
• You need to add the number of days of your private stay after the summer schools.

For each day you would like to participate, you will need to select accommodation type:

• “Single occupancy” to stay alone in a room. Selecting this option will also allow you to bring in your +1 guest  (partner/spouse/family/friend) and/or children. Your guest will need to register using the PRIVATE STAY AND GUESTS form.
• “Double occupancy” to share a double room with another same-gender participant of the summer school. You can specify the name of the person you would like to share room with.

You are welcome to bring your partner to the summer school. Our “guest” rates are designed for a partner with whom you can share a double room. Your guest will need to:

• Register as a “Guest”
• Select “Double occupancy” accommodation option
• Add a note: share room with <name>

By default, we consider that your partner will not actively participate in the academic part of the summer school, but our sessions are open for them to join too. If your partner is also an active participant of the summer school, please, you both need to register as regular participants and select “Double occupancy” accommodation option.

You can also bring your child or children to the summer school. The hotel provides the following conditions for children who can stay in a double room together with one or two adults:

• 0-1 years old: 0€ (no extra bed)
• 2-11,99 years old: 0€ (one extra bed, shared accommodation, full board)
• 12 years or older: full price
