Session Description

TEL research relies on and enhances the understanding of applications of technologies for educational purposes. PhDs in our domain need to be proficient to argue their research findings within this broader field. With the advances of LLMs, this specific technology demands for reflecting and rethinking of educational intentions and rationales, technical integrations, as well as learning outcomes. This creates a field of tension and creativity that touches learning analytics, intelligent tutors, or classical educational design. In this workshop we focus on connecting technologies and education within this scope through worked out approaches and levels of abstraction.
