Collaborative ideation is essential for addressing complex societal challenges across various domains, yet psychological and social factors can hinder its effectiveness. This workshop explores the role of digital collaboration support systems and Generative AI in the context of design-based learning. Participants will engage in a hands-on session where they design an ideation activity, conduct a pre-mortem analysis to identify potential challenges, and explore AI-powered solutions to enhance collaboration and creativity. The workshop culminates in a discussion on emerging Human-AI collaboration models, exploring opportunities and limitations of integrating AI into collaborative ideation in learning scenarios.
