Session Description

As Virtual Reality (VR) technology continues to evolve, its potential for creating immersive, engaging learning experiences is vast, yet its application for accessibility education remains underexplored. This workshop will provide PhD candidates with an opportunity to engage with VR’s capabilities for teaching accessibility and offer practical insights into design and technical challenges. Understanding how VR can be used to make abstract concepts tangible is highly relevant in the context of EdTech and TEL, as it pushes the boundaries of traditional learning tools. PhD candidates will benefit from experiencing how VR can help foster more inclusive learning environments, equipping them with valuable knowledge for future research and development in educational technologies.
