About Erasmus+ mobilities

Erasmus+ can be used to fund participation in the EATEL summer school. Erasmus+ has multiple possibilities to fund the academic staff to participate in training events as learners (learning mobility) and instructors (teaching mobility).

In some cases, these two types of mobilities can be combined.

To be able to apply for these funds, you need to be either a student or an staff at an academic institution in one of the Erasmus+ program countries:

Member States of the European Union: Belgium, Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Ireland, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland, and Sweden.

Third countries associated to the Program: North Macedonia, Serbia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Turkey.

More details about the program countries can be found here.

How to apply for an Erasmus+ mobility

Erasmus+ mobility requires minimal paper work.

  1. There should be a “mobility” agreement between two organizations, which enables the exchange of students and staff between them. International relation departments are usually involved on both sides to prepare and sign such agreements. Erasmus+ provides standard forms. If you would like to use Erasmus+ mobility to fund your participation in the EATEL summer school, contact your department of international relations, find out if there is a mobility agreement between your organization and our host organization – University of Murcia. If there is no such agreement, you will need to make it together with the University of Murcia.
  2. Once the mobility agreement is signed, you should be able to apply for a grant to fund your individual mobility. This application is submitted to your (sending) organization, following recommendation and schedules.
