Abstract
How to manage your time and resources (funding) during your Ph.D. project and how to successfully apply for funding for your projects afterward. A quick demand-based workshop on management skills, methods & tips about EU- (and German) funding programs and applications.
Needs Analysis
It is always important to invest in one’s human capital development, also the one, that is not research-related but regards the professionalization of research management and funding of projects for PH.D.s. The workshop will be relevant for everyone to learn and reflect on their status quo of working and learning skills, as well as, the methods applied to finish project works and applications. Funding will be just as relevant as great research ideas later in their academic careers – therefore a first self-assessment and information workshop on chances, opportunities, and strategies for Ph. D.s and their research interests will not only be beneficial for finishing their Ph. D.s but also later worklife in academia.
