Abstract

In this workshop participants will learn and practice basic concepts that will help them to give engaging scientific presentations. We will explore concepts such as the effective use of non-verbal communication effectively, a framework to be used to effectively communicate your research, the structure of a presentation, key points to make a good first impression and grab the audience attention, keep the attention of the audience, finish with style, manage difficulties.


Needs Analysis

As educated professionals, we need to present our work effectively, most people just want to survive the act of presenting and end up doing horrible and boring presentations that provide almost no value to the audience. With this workshop, participants will learn how to avoid these bad practices and be able to give good and engaging presentations.
