PhD project:

Doris Kristina Raave’s PhD work is related to digital pedagogy, aka the purposeful and meaningful use of digital technology in education. More specifically, her PhD work concentrates on mediators of the effect of classroom digital technology integration on teaching-learning processes. Focusing on subject-specific learning outcomes in basic education, she considers different possible mediators such as students’ learning competencies and background information, e.g., personality and relationship with teachers. The study’s results seek to give recommendations for personalising the teaching-learning processes. Stakeholders such as teachers, students, and developers benefit from this knowledge to plan, design, implement, evaluate, and reflect on meaningful CDTI.
