Short bio:
Sabina Rako has more than 15 years of experience working in the field of digital education and data analytics. She is a PhD student at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics and a member of a research group of the “HELA – Improving HEI maturity to implement learning analytics” project. Learning analytics, technology-enhanced learning, open education, and natural language processing are some of her research interests. She has received her M.Sc. degree at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Science, Department of Mathematics and currently works at the University of Zagreb University Computing Centre.
Current PhD project:
The main objective of the PhD research “Supporting self-regulated learning in a blended learning environment using prompts and learning analytics” is to explore the students’ evaluation of the usefulness of prompts implemented in a blended learning environment. A secondary objective is to develop and evaluate a real-time dashboard designed to notify teachers of students’ responses to deployed prompts.
