Biography:
L.H. Sillat (MSc) is a junior researcher at Centre for Educational Technology (CET). She holds a master degree in educational technology from Tallinn University and is a PhD student in the study program of Information Society Technology at the Tallinn University. Her research focus is in educators’ professional development with the specialisation in digital competence and assessment.
PhD project:
Research explores the alternative instruments and approaches of educators’ digital competence assessment to understand the implications within the process. Furthermore, the focus is on understanding the stakeholder needs that have interest in either the educators’ digital competence assessment process, results (assessment data) or both. Based on which we propose trade-off model which supports and enables stakeholder evidence-informed decision-making processes when designing and planning educators’ digital competence assessment.
