Current PhD project:
As we are transiting from Industry 4.0 (digitisation and automation) to Industry 5.0 (sustainability, resilience and humanization), engineering education is in need of reform. Unfortunately, universities are slow to implement top-down change. However, by providing the right structures, processes and support, we can enable our teachers to innovate their education faster, while remaining aligned with the regulations and goals of their institution. This research project undertakes to develop a framework for planning and evaluating sustainable, resilient and human-centred education innovations.
