Collaboration with JCAL

We are delighted to announce a collaboration between the Journal of Computer Assisted Learning (JCAL) and the European Association of Technology Enhanced Learning (EATEL) to publish a Special Issue (SI) of JCAL on the theme of ECTEL 2024 – “Role of TEL to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education for all”. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase and disseminate our research and events. “At EATEL, we are working hard to continuously raise the academic profile of our conference and summer school. The collaboration with Wiley and the Journal of Computer Assisted Learning will allow us to showcase the best work of our community in this high-profile academic journal”, says Marcus Specht, the president of EATEL.

The SI will consist of 6–10 papers from the ECTEL 2024 proceedings. Authors of these selected papers will be invited to extend their submissions, providing a deeper exploration of the thematic topics. Moreover, the PC Chairs of the EC-TEL conference will contribute an editorial to the Special Issue, offering valuable insights and an overview of the conference theme. This will enhance the visibility of the theme and the contributions of the PC Chairs.
