We are pleased to announce the 21th EATEL Summer School on Technology Enhanced Learning (JTELSS) to be held in Zadar, Croatia on 22-30 May, 2027. The event is organized by the European Association of Technology Enhanced Learning, Zagreb University of Applied Sciences and University of Zadar.
The event will be held in Zadar, on the Adriatic coast of Croatia, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the country with a history shaped by Roman and Venetian rule. The old town sits on a compact peninsula of marble streets and ancient ruins, home to the Sea Organ, which creates music from the waves, and the Sun Salutation, a solar-powered light installation. The surrounding area offers beaches and easy access to the Kornati, Paklenica and Krka national parks, the Zadar archipelago with around 300 islands, islets and reefs, and the nearby island of Pag. With its walkable size and mix of culture, nature, and coastline, Zadar offers plenty to explore.
The venue for the event is Hotel Kolovare, situated right on the beach in Zadar and only a short walk from Zadar Old Town. The hotel offers international cuisine, an outdoor swimming pool, and a sports-recreation center with tennis courts. It has high-standard accommodation and equipped conference facilities suitable for workshops and presentations. The summer school venue is located about 10 km from Zadar Airport (ZAD) and 128 km from Split airport (SPU).
