Tracie is a research associate in Web Science at the Open University. She works on the topics of networked misogyny, discrimination and hate speech, as well as disinformation and misinformation. Her background is in learning and cognition, with an interest in how new technologies (such as artificial intelligence, learning analytics, augmented reality, virtual reality, blockchains and peer-to-peer service architecture) support metacognition and learning.
