My academic background is in law. I graduated in law in 2000 from the University of Teramo (Italy) with a thesis on “The Protection of the Mediterranean” in international law. After completing two years of postgraduate studies, I obtained a specialization in European law at the same university. I’m a lawyer and a teacher of law and economics in an Italian high school. In 2023, I obtained a licentiate in Canon Law from the Pontifical University of the Angelicum in Rome. I’m developing my PhD project on law, data, and privacy issues related to Learning sciences and Digital Technologies.
PhD Project: The work is currently focusing on the detailed definition of the project and the selection of topics to be retained or removed from the project, also in light of the comments received in the review. In parallel, I am trying to identify the most appropriate methods to proceed with the collection of meaningful data regarding “privacy management” during digital school activities, including AI-based ones. The simplest might be the collection of data with questionnaires and interviews with students and teachers, to be processed statistically. If feasible, a simulation of LA with digital data collection could be conducted.
