Kateryna Holubinka is a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. dr. Renate de Groot, Prof. dr. Roland Klemke and Dr. Corrie Urlings in the Open University of the Netherlands. She has a master degree in foreign language learning and literature studies from the Kyiv National Linguistic University, and a second master on education, media and e-learning from the Fern Universitaet in Hagen, Germany. Her current research topics include instructional design, motivation and collaboration in virtual learning environments.
Kateryna’s PhD project explores the potential of immersive education at the example of CloudClass – a ‘Low Cost, Mobile, Cloud &Template Based Augmented Reality Studio for Education’ (CloudClass Application Overview – YouTube).
