Dimitris Karampatzakis

Dr. Dimitris Karampatzakis is Assistant Professor (Analog and Digital Electronic Systems) at the Department of Computer Science – International Hellenic University, and Director of the Industrial and Educational Embedded Systems Lab. He holds a Eng. Diploma in Electronics and Computer Engineering from ECE – Technical University of Crete (2003) and a PhD in VLSI Systems from ECE – University of Thessaly (2009). Dimitris has been involved in educational robotics since 2010 and throughout these years he actively participated in the development of STE(A)M in his area. Finally, as deputy mayor and councilor in the municipality of Drama, Greece (2014-present) he was responsible for urban planning, ICT and EU projects.
